چکیده

Hydrogen peroxide and peroxymonocarbonate anion-based bleach reactions are important for many applications such as paper bleach, waste water treatment laundry. Nonheme iron(III) complexes, [Fe III (L 1-4 )Cl 2 ] with the 1,3-bis(2 ′ -Ar-imino)isoindolines ligands (HL n , n=1–4, Ar = pyridyl, thiazolyl, benzimidazolyl N-methylbenzimidazolyl, respectively) have been shown to catalyze oxidative degradation of morin a soluble model bleachable stain by H O in buffered aqueous solution. In these experiments bleaching activity catalysts was significantly influenced Lewis acidity redox properties metal centers, showed linear correlation Fe /Fe II potentials (in range 197–415 mV) controlled modification electron donor ligand introducing various aryl groups on bis-iminoisoindoline moiety. A similar trend but low yields observed disproportionation (catalase-like reaction) which is major side reaction catalytic transition complexes. The effect bicarbonate ions might be explained reduction Fe(III) and/or formation monoanion, much stronger oxidant could increase catalytically active high-valent oxoiron species.

Photodecomposition of Hydrogen Peroxide in Highly Saline Aqueous Medium

The photodecomposition of hydrogen peroxide was performed in highly saline aqueous medium (60 g.L of NaCl). The Fe/H2O2/NaCl/UV system was tested at temperatures from 20 to 50 C, while the intervals of concentration of Fe and H2O2 were 1 to 2.5 mM and 230 to 630 mM, respectively. It is known from the literature that chloride is an inhibitor of the oxidation of organic compound in aqueous medium...

Oxidation catalysis of Nb(salan) complexes: asymmetric epoxidation of allylic alcohols using aqueous hydrogen peroxide as an oxidant.

Several optically active Nb(salan) complexes were synthesized, and their oxidation catalysis was examined. A dimeric mu-oxo Nb(salan) complex that was prepared from Nb(OiPr)(5) and a salan ligand was found to catalyze the asymmetric epoxidation of allylic alcohols using a urea-hydrogen peroxide adduct as an oxidant with good enantioselectivity. However, subsequent studies of the time course of ...

Asymmetric epoxidation of olefins catalyzed by Ti(salan) complexes using aqueous hydrogen peroxide as the oxidant*

Ti(salan) complexes were found to be efficient catalysts for asymmetric epoxidation with aqueous hydrogen peroxide as the oxidant. In the presence of pH 7.4 phosphate buffer, the reaction of various conjugate olefins proceeded smoothly to afford the corresponding epoxides in high yield with high enantioselectivity, even on a multigram scale. Ti(salan) complexes could be prepared from Ti(OiPr)4 ...

Oxidative aromatization of some 1,4-dihydropyridines by aqueous hydrogen peroxide in ethanol

Some 3, 5-diacyl or 3,5-diester 1,4-dihydropyridines were oxidized to the corresponding pyridine derivatives using hydrogen peroxide in aqueous ethanol in the presence of potassium bromide and acetic acid as the catalysts. The reaction was carried out in ethanol and products were isolated in high to excellent yields. However, oxidation of 3,5-diacetyl 1,4-dihydropyridines is slower than 3,5-die...
